This sword belongs to Jyo Jyo saku ranking.
The blade was polished.
Habaki : Silver single Habaki
Blade length : 69.4 cm or 27.32inches.
Sori : 2.1 cm or 0.82inches.
Mekugi : 2
Width at the hamachi : 2.8 cm or 1.10inches.
Width at the Kissaki : 1.92 cm or 0.75inches.
Kasane : 0.7cm or 0.27inches.
The weight of the sword :675 grams.
Era : Muromachi period
Shape : Suriage-Mumei, The blade is normally broad and thick, has a deep Sori and slightly longer Kissaki.
Jigane :Itame-hada mixed with Mokume-hada well grained, Jigane with Hada-dachi,
Shiroke-Utsuri appears well.
Hamon :Niedeki, Gunome-Midare, slightly square-shaped and sharp Hamon, small
Sunagashi and Kinsuji work in Hachu, Boshi turns back round.

Special feature:NBTHK has judged this sword as Itakura Seki; a sword
smith group who have moved to Mino kuni Kamo-gun Koyamasato
Sakakura, present Gifu prefecture Kamo-gun Sakaiwaimachi Sakakura. The
founder is supposed to be Fujitarou Kanetoshi from Naoe Shizu
school.

Koshirae : Great Handachi Koshirae, NBTHK Hozon Toso-gu.
Tsuba:Otafuku-shaped Shakudo Tsuba, small arabesque and family crest are engraved.
The rim is covered by Shakudo.
Fuchikashira:Shakudo plate, small arabesque and family crest are engraved with gold
color.
Saya :Black Ishime-ji with patterns.
Menuki : Shakudo plate, Chinese phoenix is engraved with gold color.
Kojiri:Shakudo plate, small arabesque and family crest are engraved with gold color.

From Aoi Art: It is attributed as Sakakura Seki by NBTHK, however this is far
better than normal Seki-works: better Jigane with Shiroke-Utsuri and the body
shape is wonderful. It is relatively newer as Seki-works, supposed to
be made in the mid Muromachi-period. Koshirae is beautiful Handachi-
Koshirae, we truly recommend this one for you. This must have been a
possession of a Samurai or Daimyo with high salary.
