Special feature: Shizu is originally the name of the country of Mino, but it is
called Shizu Saburo Kaneuji after the place where
Masamune’s master
Kaneuji came to live and made a sword. Therefore, the work
simply called Shizu means Kaneuji.
Since ancient times, he has been counted as one of the ten
swordsmiths of Masamune, and he is one of the
swordsmiths who has the style closest to Masamune
among them, but on the ground. The highlight of this work
is that there is a Masame hada and Gunome midare is
mixed to Hamon.

From Aoi Art: This work is mastered by Shizu, but Jigane picks it well
and becomes a fine Jigane, and Hamon is a dignified So-syu
den with fine Togari ba appearing, and it can be said that it is
a work that can be identified as Masamune, Jyuyo The Token
the explanation states that it is one of the best Shizu products
and is the best. I had seen Masamune at
the Japanese Sword Museum before
I feel the goodness of Jigane and the elegance of Hamon,
which is by no means inferior to that of Masamune.
Mr. Tanobe’s Sayagaki also states that it is a particularly
excellent product in the same industry. We highly
recommend a wonderful work that rarely appears. The beauty of Jigane and the work of
Hamon are fully brought out by the best polishing. Koshirae
is a wonderful work and has been designated as NBT HK
Tokubetsu Hozon Toso-gu. It is wonderful to work that I
would definitely recommend it.
