Habaki : Gold failed double habaki.
Blade length : 20.0 cm or 7.87 inches.
Sori :0.0cm or 0.0 inches.

Width at the hamachi : 2.09cm or 0.82 inches.
Kasane : 0,61cm or 0.24 inches.
The weight of the sword 105grams.
Era : End of Nanbokucho period to early of Muromachi period.
Shape : Small Tanto. Bohi is engraved on frontside. Soe-hi is engraved on backside.
Regular width but thick sword. The sword was made around 600-700 years ago,
but it has only 1 Mekugi hole, it must be kept very carefully.
Jigane: Ko-Itame-Hada well grained, Jinie attached thickly. Utsuri is visible.
Hamon : Niedeki-Suguha based Guome-Midre arranged on bothside. Boshi is Komaru Hakikake style.

Special feature: The founder of Shigetaka was started around Kamakura
period but descendants was continued until Edo period.

Koshirae : Aikuchi style

From Aoi Art: Kongo Hyoei School was start from end of Kamakura period.
They moved to many areas and it continued until Edo period.
Kogo Byoei usually just make Katana and their Tanto is very
rare. For that reason, this sword must be kept very carefully
and it has only 1 Mekugi hole. We strongly recommend you
this rare Shigetaka’s Tanto.
