Special feature: Kii Kuni To Ichi Yasuhiro is Kii’s swordsmith and Ichimonji’s favorite swordsmith.
About 40 years after this swordsmith, Biccyu Kamo Yasuhiro imitates Cyoji Midare and
Kii Kuni Toichi Yasuhiro’s Hamon to produce a similar Hamon. It is believed that Yasuhiro
originally learned from Kii Kuni, who was a master at the time at Kii’s swordsmith, and
Bichu Yasuhiro eventually moved to Settsu.

Koshirae :
Saya :black roiro saya.
Tsuba: On the Shakudo plain Tsuba, engraved wheel shape and open work.
Menuki: Miscanthus is engraved with gold color.
Fuchikashira: On the Shakudo plain plate, country’s scenery is engraved
with gold color.

From Aoi Art: Kii Kuni Touichi Yasuhiro has a small number of productions
and is rarely seen. However, this swordsmith was a swordsmith who was active in
Kii around Kanei and was said to be a master of copying Ichimonji. He hasn’t
dropped to Kanbun and is in the shape of Kanei. Ichimonji of this work is a work
that reaches Shinogi, and Utsuri appears in Jigane. Probably Yasuhiro in Settsu is
making a blade pattern similar to Yasuhiro in Kii, but Taihai has a lot of Kanbun
shape, and Kii Kuni Touichi Yasuhiro’s sword feels old from there, and Settsu was
made at the stage when it was made in Kii. Kii Kuni Yasuhiro, who emigrated to Settsu, is believed to have learned hard from him. In any case, I highly recommend the gorgeous Kisuyu Ishido Ichimonji copy.
