Izumi Kojiro 11 Dai Mago Fujie Kiyojiro Kiyomitsu
Explanation: Fujie Seijiro Kiyomitsu 11th son of the Izumi Kojiro made this sword by his effort on the lucky day of August 1867.
(We divide 4 sections for each sword as Saijyo Saku, Jyo-jyo saku Jyo saku and regular saku)
This sword belongs to Jyo-jyo ranking.
The blade was polished.
Habaki: Silver single.
Blade length: 57.8 cm or 22.7 inches.
Sori :1,4cm or 0.55 inches.
Mekugi: 1
Width at the hamachi: 2,77cm or 1.09 inches.
Width at the Kissaki: 1.86cm or 0.73 inches.
Kasane: 0.59cm or 0.23 inches.
The weight of the sword 595 grams.
Era : Edo period Keio 3rd. 1867
Shape: Long Wakizashi with regular width and thickness, deep Sori and longer Kissaki. Good shape sword and Ubuha remained.
Jigane: Ko-Itame-Hada well grained. Jinie attached beautiful Jigane.
Hamon :Niedeki Suguha. Boshi is round shape.
Special feature: Fujie Kiyojiro Kiyomitsu’s sword style is Suguha with
Gunomemidare. Nakago-Jiri is typical Kashu style.
Koshirae :
Tsuba: Ellipse shape iron Tsuba. Lotus’s leaf is engraved with openwork. Echizen Kinai
Fuchikashira: Shakudo Nanako plate. Miscanthus and birds are engraved with gold color.
Saya: Orange Roiro Saya
Menuki: Shakudo plate. The flower is engraved with gold color.
Kokiri: Iron plate. Vine and leaf are engraved.
Kurikata: iron plate. The flower pattern is engraved.
