Curvature: 0.8cm (0.31in)
Mekugi-ana: 1
Motohaba: 2.76cm (1.09in)
Sakihaba: 2.01cm (0.79in)
Kasane: 0.59cm (0.23in)
Era : Early Edo period. About Meireki era.(about 1655.)
Shape : This blade is regular sized, Suriage-Mumei Wakizashi with little sori and rather long Kissaki.
Jitetsu : Itame and Mokume mix, and works very well, with Jinie attach.
There are some rough skin.
Hamon : Nie based, Gunome midare. There are many Ko-ashi in Ha.
There are some Sunagashi in Ha.
It’s active Hamon. Boshi is Hakikake style with Sungashi.
Special feature : Unfortunately, this blade has some rough, but Hamon is very active.
Koshirae:
Tsuba: Iron tsuba with a pierced wheel design.
Fuchi-kashira: Iron, decorated with a plant design in iroe.
Kojiri: Iron.
Kurikata: Iron.
Menuki: Shakudo with gold iroe. The subject is unknown.
Kozuka/Kogatana: Iron, carved with a design of a hawk and a person, with iroe decoration.
Kogai: Turtle design.
