Shape: slightly wide blade with big kissaki. Bonji and Kusa-no-kurikara are carved on the blade.
Jigane: Itame and Mokume with intense grain patterns.
Hamon: Nie-base Gunome midare with much Nie making Sunagashi.

Features: There were several swordsmiths have name of Kanenori in Mino, from the Nanbokucho period to the Muromachi period. This blade is considered to be the work of a Kanenori from the late Muromachi period. It has a well-proportioned shape and an impressive, dignified presence.
