Aoi Art’s Comment: This sword has a very practical and easy-to-handle shape.
A polisher whom I knew well owned a Seiryūken Moritoshi blade.
It was a relatively short sword, and he carried it with him when he went off to war.
I still remember how he often spoke about fighting after boarding enemy vessels.
Later in life, he wrote novels and continued polishing swords while living with his wife.
He has since passed away, but whenever I see a Seiryūken Moritoshi blade, I am reminded of him.
NBTHK Tokubetsu Hozon Token.
Katana and Koshirae: Tokenen-sha Shinsa Iinkai Authentication Paper.
AoiArt estimation paper: Whole Oshigata.
