This sword belongs to Jyo Saku ranking.
The blade was polished.
Habaki : Silver single habaki.
Blade length : 73.4 cm or 28.89 inches.
Sori : 1.5 cm or 0.59 inches.
Mekugi : 2
Width at the hamachi : 2.87 cm or 1.12 inches.
Width at the Kissaki : 1.8 cm or 0.70 inches.
Kasane :0.66 cm or 0.25 inches.
The weight of the sword: 735grams.
Era : Early to middle Muromachi period
Shape : Regular width and thickness Katana with moderate Sori, longer Kissaki.
Jigane : Itame Hada and O-Itame hada mixed with Jinie attach.
There are some rough textures.
Hamon : Nie Deki, double and triple Ha. There are many Kinsuji and Sunagashi. Boshi is also double Ha with Kinsuji, Hakikake style.

Special feature:Hoju was a swordsmith of Mutsu province. That school started from the middle Kamakura period and continued to the Muromachi period. The Jigane is Hadadachi, O-Itame Hada and O-Mokume Hada with Utsuri.
The Hamon is similar to Gassan. And also, similar to Ko Naminohira and Sairen.
We don’t know if it’s a coincidence, but we are very interested in it.

The blade reminds of Ko-Gassan’s Ayasugi Hada.This sword feels old.
