This sword belongs to Jyojyo ranking.
The blade was polished.
Habaki :　Gold color single Habaki.
Blade length :　74.3　cm or 29.25 inches.
Sori :1.8 cm or 0.70 inches.
Mekugi : 　1
Width at the hamachi: 3.59 cm or 1.41 inches.
Width at the Kissaki: 3.14 cm or 1.23 inches.
Kasane : 0.66cm or 0.25 inches.
The weight of the sword 895 grams.
Era : Mordern(March 1987)
Shape: The width has 3.59cm(1.14) it is a very wide and thick blade. Deep sori and Bo-hi are engraved on both sides. It is O-Kissaki, exiting shape sword.
Jigane: Ko-Itame hada well grained. Blackish Kyushu Jigane.
Hamon: Ko-niedeki Choji Midare with Gunome-midare and also mixed with Ko- ashi. Sunagashi, Kinsuji worked. Boshi is Midarekomi style, the edge is sharp and turn back.

Special feature: Akamatsu Taro Kanesuke, his real name Kimura Karu, was born in Showa 36th year at Yashiro city, Kumamoto prefecture. He has imitated many swords from Kiyomaro.
Most are wide and long kissaki swords which are also get attention from overseas. He has received an award of excellence and award of effort at Shinsakuto exhibition. He has brothers
Kanetsugu and Kaneteru and make steel at there own way
which is unlike that of the tatara iron that is made in the sword museum. It is dark Kyushu jigane. It is well polished
sword and made with many effort. We could say that it is a
masterpiece.

blackish iron and made Tamahagane which was made by his own factory.
This is very big sword but Bo-hi is engraved on both side,so it is not so heavy. The sword has Choji-midare mix with Gunomemidare,
this is one of his masterpiece. We recommend the sword for you.
