Special feature: Odawara Hachiman Yama Ju Kiyohira was born in Genna 6th. ,the fourth son Kanewaka the 1st generation. He was called Tsujimura Gorozaemonjo. He went to Edo and served the first lord of Odawara, Inaba Masakatsu.

From Aoi Art: The highly skilled Hachiman Yama Ju Kiyohira served the first lord of Odawara, Inaba Masakatsu. This is why the signature is inscribed with Odawara Hachiman Yama. At that time, he was working as a wordsmith with Kanewaka in Kaga. And then he moved to Tobu in Manji 2nd. There is a sword engraved with production date, Genroku 6th at the age of 75. He had a long life. At a glance, this blade is similar to Tsuda Echizen Kami Sukehiro. But this blade was made before Kanbun era. In my opinion, This is a work that predates the period when Tsuda Echizen Kami Sukehiro produced the Doranba Hamon. In fact, it is thought that Kiyohira’s style influenced Sukehiro’s work.
