This blade belongs to Jyo ranking.

The blade was polished.
Blade length : 61.0 cm or 24.01 inches.
Sori : 2.0 cm or 0.78 inches.
Mekugi : 1
Width at the hamachi : 2.94 cm or 1.156 inches.
Width at the Kissaki : 2.14 cm or 0.84 inches.
Kasane : 0.63 cm or 0.24 inches.
Era : Early Muromachi period.
There are Bo-Hi on boths side of the blade.
There are Kizu on about 20 cm and 25cm from the Habaki.
Shape : Regular width and thickness, short size Katana.
Jitetsu : Ko Itame Hada well grained with Jinie attach.
Hamon : Nie Deki, Suguha Hamon.

Special feature : Mihara school was lived neighbor country Okayama and started from late Kamakura period to late Muromachi period. From Kamakura to Nanbokucyo period is called Ko^Mihara, from early Muromachi to middle Muromachi is called Mihara school and from middle to late Muromachi is called Sue mihara school. Generally Mihara school made suguha hamon mainly because there are many shrines and temples. so many sword makers for working these templas and shrines made swords for protecting soldiers.This sword has special feature of Yamato school.

Koshirae :
Tsuba : Iron Tsuba, plant is engraved with gold color.
Fuchikashira : Iron, some pattern is engraved.
Saya : Black Roiro Saya.
Menuki : Dragon and Ken are engraved with gold color.
