Jidai(era):Early Edo period.

Explanation: A masterpiece made by 7th generation of the Goto family, Teijo, judged by 10th Renjo with Origami, and Kiwame-Mei engraved by 13th Enjo Mitsutaka. Besides, in 1840, a small piece of paper which says”There is nothing wrong with the old paper(origami) in 1696″ was added and it became just perfect.

Ukifune, a princess who is seesawing between Genji’s son Kaoru and his friend Niou, finally is taken to the Island of Tachibana by Niou on the drifting boat. On the boat they share the poems of their heart, Niou composes”No matter how much time goes by, my heart will always by your side.” and Ukifune composes back “If so, what will happen to me, this myself like a drifting boat, on which we are now riding.”
