This sword belongs to Jyo Jyo saku ranking.
Koto: Jyo saku: Bizen.
The blade was polished.

Habaki: Gold foiled double habaki.
Blade length: 70.36 cm or 27.70 inches.
Sori :2.12 cm or 0.83 inches.
Mekugi : 3
Width at the hamachi: 2.78cm or 1.09 inches.
Width at the Kissaki: 1.96 cm or 0.77 inches.
Kasane : 0.68cm or 0.26 inches.
The weight of the sword 695grams.
Era : Kamakura Bunpo era.
Shape: O-Suriage Mumei, wide and thick Katana with Sori.
Jigane: Ko Mokume Hada well grained with Jinie attach.
The Jigane is beautiful. There are clear Midare Utsuri.
Hamon : Nie Deki, Suguha Hamon with small Ashi an Yo.
Boshi is round shape.

Special feature: Unsho, Unji, and were working at Bizen Ukai province, so there are called Ukai school. Unji was a son of Unsho who was working at Shoho, Bunpo and Kenmu because his name and date was mentioned on the tang.
Unrui is a slight difference between Bizen school and the blade was influenced by Yamashiro and Aoe school.
Even though the blade is O-suriage, deep Sori
The Jigane has Chikei and Jihan also Utsuri appears and active Hamon and bright.

Koshirae :
Saya: Black Roiro Saya with some pattern.
Tsuba: Mokko shape, Shakudo plane Tsuba.
Menuki: small mallets are engraved with gold color.
Fuchikashira: Shakudo Nanako, flowers are engraved with gold color. Signature: Biyo Ju Jyokuseido Akio(Kao).

From Aoi Art: Unji is the most famous swordsmith in the Un-Rui school. This blade has Shinogi-Ji(no Hi). The Jigane is clear and has Midare Utsuri. The Hamon is Suguha with thick Nioikuchi.
And there are many Ko-Ashi. We highly recommend this masterpiece. The Koshirae has a calm atmosphere.
