This sword belongs to Jyo-jyo saku saku ranking.
The blade was polished.
Habaki : Gold foiled single Habaki.
Blade length : 69.4cm or 27.3 inches.
Sori : 2.9cm or 1.14 inches.
Mekugi :
Width at the hamachi : 2.75cm or 1.08 inches.
Width at the Kissaki : 1.71cm or 0.67 inches.
Kasane :0.64 cm or 0.25 inches.
The weight of the sword 555 grams.
Era : Kamakura period Enkyo era 1308
Shape : Osuriaage Mumei. Regular width and thickness.
Sori is deep and Kissaki is Chu-Kissaki.
Jigane :Ko-Mokume-Hada well grained. Jinie attached beautiful Yamagane style Jigane. Chikei.
Hamon : Ko-Niedeki Suguha with Nijuba.
Boshi is beautiful round shape.

Special feature: Hisanobu is Yamashiro’s sword smith, He is the son of Yamashiro
Ryokai and sword style is the same as Ryokai, Rai school style.

Koshirae :
Tsuba: Iron plate. A pattern is engraved with brass inlay.
Fuchikashira; Koziri: Shakudo plate.
Saya: Black Ishime Saya.
Menuki: Shakudo plate, a person is engraved with gold color.

From Aoi Art: Ryokai Hisanobu is Kamakura period Enkyo era’s sword smith. So this
sword was made about 710 years ago but the condition is still very good, it must be kept
as family treasure by someone.
