The blade was polished.
Habaki : copper single habaki
Blade length : 69.8 cm or 27.5 inches.
Sori :2.4 cm or 0.945 inches.
Mekugi : 1
Width at the hamachi : 2.85cm or 1.12 inches.
Width at the Kissaki : 1.98cm or 0.78 inches.
Kasane : 0.69cm or 0.272 inches.
The weight of the sword 630 grams.
Era: unknown
Shape: The blade is rather wide and thick with deep sori and longer kissaki
Jigane: Koitame hada well grained with jinie attach nice texture.
Hamon: Nie deki gunome midare with deep nioikuchi rather dark feeling hamon.
Special feature:This sword is deep nioikichi
and feels old sword but the hamon looks too dark, so the blade might have been made at late Edo period.
Koshirae :
Saya: Kawarinuri Saya.
Tsuba: On the oval-shaped iron plate, a tiger and bamboo
leaves are engraved with gold color.
Menuki : A gold color.ragon is engraved with
Fuchikashira:On the Shakudo Nanako plate, a dragon is engraved with gold color.
Kioiri: On the copper plate, a dragon is engraved with gold color.
From Aoi Art: From right hand from hamachi to 15 cm, a future papa but not so bad.
The blade was polished and gunome Midare Hamon and also nice Koshirae.
