The blade was polished.
Habaki :　Silver double Habaki.
Blade length :　67.3　cm or 26.49 inches.
Sori : 1.9 cm or 0.74 inches.
Mekugi : 　2
Width at the hamachi : 2.77cm or 1.09 inches.
Width at the Kissaki : 1.88cm or 0.74 inches.
Kasane : 0.67cm or 0.26 inches.
The weight of the sword: 640 grams.
Era : Kamakura period around Ounin era. 1293.
Shape : Ubu Nakago, regular width and thickness blade with deep Sori and has Saki-Zori, nice shape sword.
Jigane : Ko Mokume well grained with Jinie attach. The Jigane is beautiful.
Shinogi-Ji: Ko Itame and Masame mixed.
Hamon :　Ko Nie Deki, Suguha Hamon with Ko Ashi and Yo.
Boshi is unclear.

Special feature: Ryokai was a swordsmith of Yamashiro province.　The Jigane is well grained and beautiful.

From Aoi Art: This blade was made around the middle of the Kamakura period, Ubu shape sword. The Jigane is Yamashiro. There is Utsuri. The Hamon is Suguha. If you look closely, you can see the Kinsuji in the Ha.　It is a sword that is almost 720 years passed. It seems that there was originally a signature and it is crushed. We recommend the works of Ubu Nakago that have passed the NBTHK Tokubetsu Hozon.
