The blade was polished.
Habaki: Gold foiled and silver double Habaki with peony and clouds design are engraved.
Blade length: 66.5 cm or 26.1 inches.
Sori :2.3cm or 0.90 inches.
Mekugi: 2
Width at the hamachi: 3.24cm or 1.27 inches.
Width at the Kissaki: 2.17 cm or 0.85 inches.
Kasane :0.74cm or 0.29 inches.
The weight of the sword 780 grams.
Era : Edo period. Kanbun era.
Shape: Wide and thick sword with about 8cm Machi-okuri, Suriage. Sori is deep and
Kissaki is longer.
Jigane: Koitame-Hada well grained. Jinie attached Houjo-ji style Jigane.
Hamon : Nie-deki Choji-Midare and Gunome-Midare mixed. Boshi is round
in shape ad Sunagashi worked.

Special feature: Yoshitake is the son of Horikawa Kunitake. At first, he
worked at Kyoto then he moved to Edo to forge swords.
From Aoi Art: Gorgeous Choji-Midare, from the Jigane and Hamon style, we
can say this sword was made after he moved to Edo. The
polish is good and there is no flaws. We recommend this
sword.
