This sword belongs to Jyo Saku ranking.
The blade was polished.
Habaki :　Gold color single habaki.
Blade length :　26.3cm or 10.35 inches.
Sori :　0.2　cm or 0.07 inches.
Mekugi : 　2
Width at the hamachi : 2.35　cm or 0.92 inches.
Kasane : 　0.41cm or 0.16 inches.
The weight of the sword 115 　grams.
Era : Late Nanbokucyo period: 1390.
Shape : The blade is rather smaller size mitsumune style.
Omote side, hutasuji hi and bonji are engraved
and urea side, Suken and bonji are engraved.
Jigane :Koitame had well grained with jinie attach and utsuri appear.
Hamon :Konie deck suguha based and komidare,
from the monouchi area,
niedeki rather deep nioikuchi hamon.
Bo-shi is round shape.

Special feature: Nobukuni started from early Nanbokucyo period
and second Nobukuni was working at the end
of Nanbokucyo to early
Muromachi period and continued to 3rd and 4th.

Koshirae : Aikuchi style.
Saya :Aogai chirasi and oainted folowers.
Menuki :
I think the designe looks tee ceremony goods.
Fuchikashira, Kojiri, Kurikate were made same designe
which was made by brass ishimeji and engraved autumn leaves.
Kozuka: on the silver plate, some family marks are engraved.
Kogatana: Choshu Ju Nio- Masakiyo.

From Aoi Art : This tanto is 2nd generation Nobukuni mitsu
mune style, and engraved double hi and Bonji and on the back side,
Suken and bonji. utsuri appear. The hamon is suguha based
round shape Kissaki.
Koshirae is nice and all same fittings.
We recommend this Tanto with Aikuchi koshirae.
