Signature:Unrinin Masamori (Ise)

(We divide 4 sections for each sword as Saijyo saku, Jyo-jyo saku Jyo saku and regular saku)
This sword belongs to the Saijo Saku ranking.
The blade was polished by the highest-ranking polisher

Blade length:  39.4 cm or 15.51 inches.
Sori : 0 cm or 0 inches.
Mekugi:  1
Width at the hamachi: 4.32 cm or 1.70 inches.
Kasane : 0.73 cm or 0.28 inches.
The weight of the sword 695 grams.
Era : Late Muromachi period.
Shape: Wide and thick long size Sasaho Yari.
Jigane : Ko Mokume Hada well grained with Jinie attach.
The Jigane is clear.
Hamon : Ko Nie Deki, Ko Gunome Midare, Gunome Midare, and Togari Gunome Midare.
Boshi is pointed style.

Special feature: Unrinin Masamori (Ise) school started from the Muromachi period Bunmei era to the early Edo period.
The Kerakubi is not so long. So we guess that this Yari was made around the end of Muromachi period.

From Aoi Art: This is quite large for a Sasaho Yari.
The blade is healthy. The Jigane is outstandingly good.
Many of the Ise swordsmiths produce relatively large works, and this Yari is similar.
