Shape: A well-proportioned katana with bo-hi carved on both sides and a slightly elongated kissaki. It is well balanced and comfortable to handle.
Jigane: Well-forged ko-itame hada producing a fine and refined jigane.
Hamon: Nioi-deki gunome-midare with well-defined ashi. The boshi continues in a midare pattern.

Features: Nakagawa Taiten, whose real name is Nakagawa Taizō, is a contemporary swordsmith from Shiga Prefecture, born in 1976.　Considering its length, the sword is relatively lightweight and easy to handle.
