Characteristics:
The design depicts pine trees and a flock of cranes, rendered in high-relief carving with inlay and colored metal decoration on a shakudo nanako ground.

Nagamine was a member of the Ayanokoji school and was also known as Jirozaburo. He excelled at depicting figures from Japanese and Chinese subjects using high-relief carving and colored metal decoration, and many of his works are fuchigashira. He lived in Ayanokoji, Kyoto, and was a highly skilled artisan.
