Shape: A broad blade and thick blade with shallow curvature.
Jigane: Beautiful, tightly forged ko-itame hada with ji-nie and fine chikei.
Hamon: Wide suguha with abundant nie, forming a deep and soft nioikuchi reminiscent of clouds.

Features:
Tsuda Omi no Kami Sukenao was a swordsmith from Oaka and a student of Tsuda Sukehiro. He studied under the 2nd-generation Sukehiro and is said to have later married Sukehiro’s sister. From Tenna 2 (1682), he began using the Tsuda surname.
Like Sukehiro, Sukenao produced blades with large gunome, and notare hamon. This particular work, however, is unusual in that it features a wide suguha hamon with a deep nioiguchi and abundant nie, which is thought to have been modeled after the style of Go Yoshihiro, as described in the Juyo Zufu.
