Features:
Dewa Daijo Fujiwara Kunimichi was one of the most renowned swordsmiths among the students of Horikawa Kunihiro. He was born around Tensho 4 (1576) and, having lived a long life, produced a large number of swords. It is believed that he received the honorary title “Dewa Daijo” sometime between Keicho 19 and 20 (1614-1615).

His boshi often displays a distinctive pattern known as “Mishina Boshi,” in which the hamon in the kissaki becomes notare and turns back. This suggests that he likely had connections with the Mishina school.

Overall, some surface wear and scuffing can be seen.
