Habaki: Double silver-foiled habaki (with some loss of the silver foil).

Era: Mid to late Muromachi period.
Shape: Suriage blade with the signature “Noshu Ju Kane…” remaining, while the rest of the inscription has been lost.
Jigane: Well-forged ko-itame hada.
Hamon: Nie-deki with nijuba, pointed gunome, and a boshi that becomes irregular before returning in a rounded form.

Features: Based on the characteristics of the jigane and hamon, this blade is considered to be the work of a Sue-Seki swordsmith from the mid to late Muromachi period. The hamon displays the pointed midare typical of Seki workmanship.

Koshirae: Han-tachi koshirae.
Tsuba: Round iron tsuba carved with a Mitsudomoe motif.
Fuchikashira: Kojiri: Decorated with scrolling arabesque patterns.
Saya (Scabbard): Decorative textured lacquer finish.
Menuki: Chrysanthemum motif in shakudo with gold iroe.
Kozuka: Kikusui (floating chrysanthemum) motif with gold iroe.
Kogatana: Included.
