Shape: A blade of standard width and thickness with deep curvature and an elongated kissaki.
Grooves (hi) are carved on both sides of the blade.
Jigane: Well-forged and tightly compacted ko-itame hada.
Hamon: Nie-deki choji-midare with long, active ashi.
The workmanship resembles that of Naokatsu.
A blade of excellent quality.
Features: Mino no Kuni ju Fujiwara Masaaki was also known as Yoshida Ken.
His father was the first-generation Masaaki.
He is a highly regarded swordsmith.
His works are generally well-balanced, slightly lighter in weight, and easy to handle.This looks good to be used for Iaito.

Tsuba: Iron tsuba with openwork designs, further decorated with finely engraved patterns.
Fuchi: Shakudo nanako ground carved with pine trees and highlighted with gold iroe.
