Era: the mid Muromachi period, around 1500.
Shape: slightly wide, thick blade with deep curvature and short tang with a difference in width between the base and the tip.
Jigane: fine Ko-itame hada with Ji-nie.
Hamon: Rather nioi-deki, gunome and Choji with ashi, sunagashi and kinsuji appear vividly, while the boshi is slightly midarekomi.
Features:
Tadimitsu was a swordsmith of the Osafune school, active from the Nanbokuchō period through the Muromachi period. This piece is thought to be made in the early to mid Muromachi period, circa 1500. This work has an excellent overall shape, with a finely forged and tightly grained jigane, and is an outstanding piece rich in vivid activities within the hamon.

Tsuba: circular iron tsuba carved with a design of arrows.
Fuchikashira: Shakudo-nanako base carved with chickens.
Menuki: Shakudo-nanako base carved with three arrows.
