Shape:Suriage mumei, with bohi carvings on both sides.
The blade has noticeable curvature and an extended kissaki.
Jigane:Well-forged ko-itame hada, with a visible grain pattern.
Hamon:Well-aligned gunome-midare, with a boshi that enters in irregular patterns.
Faint utsuri appears.
Features: Fujishima was a swordsmith from Kaga active around the Kansho era.
This wakizashi was forged in the mid-15th century, approximately 560 years ago.
Aoi Art’s Comment: Fujishima works are known for rounded gunome-midare patterns,
often featuring kinsuji between the gunome elements.
