This sword belongs to Jyojyo ranking.
The blade was polished.
Habaki : Gold foiled single habaki.
Blade length : 70.0 cm or 27.5 inches.
Sori :0.9 cm or 0.35 inches.
Mekugi :  3
Width at the hamachi : 2.67cm or 1.05 inches.
Width at the Kissaki : 1.83 cm or 0.72inches.
Kasane : 0.68 cm or 0.26 inches.
The weight of the sword 665 grams.
Era : 1381, around Eitoku period
Shape : O-suriage Mumei. Regular width and thickness. Shallow Sori and longer Kissaki.
Jigane :Ko-mokume-hada and Ko-Itamehada mixed. Jinie attached and there is Chikei. Beautiful Jigane.
Hamon :Niedeki-Suguha with Ko-Ashi. Kinsuji work around blade.

Special feature: Tegai Kanetoshi is sword smith of Yamato Tegai school. The first generation is active around Eitoku period. This sword has very wonderful Jigane. The Hada has ko-Itame-Hada and Ko-Mokume-hada. Able to see Utsuri clearly and we can fill the oldness of the sword. It was polished by a good polisher and there is elegant Kinsuji. Just in our opinion but it is difficult to find Tegai sword has good quality and conditions like this sword. We recommend this sword for you.

Koshirae:
Saya: Red color Saya.
Tsuba: Round shape iron Tsuba, pine tree, and persons are engraved with openwork, gold, and silver color.
Signature: Goshu Hikone Ju Mogarashi Soten Sei.
Fuchi: Shakudo Nanako, flowers are engraved with gold color.
Kashira: black horn.
Menuki: Shakudo, the plant is engraved.
