Explanation: This blade was made by Gassan Sadakatsu in December 1933 commemorating the birth of His Imperial Highness the Crown Prince.
We divide 4 sections for each sword as Saijyo Saku, Jyojyo Saku, Jyo Saku and Regular Saku.
This work is ranked as Jyojyo Saku among the works of Gassan Sadakatsu.

Shape: The blade has standard width, with a deep curvature and an extended kissaki.
It retains its original ha (cutting edge), and remains in healthy condition.
Jigane: Ayasugi-hada is clearly visible.
Hamon: Suguha style with small ashi (leg-like temper patterns) entering.
Features: This sword was crafted on an auspicious day in December 1933 to commemorate the birth of His Imperial Highness the Crown Prince.
It is said that Gassan Sadakatsu studied the distinctive ayasugi-hada from his father, Gassan Sadakazu, who succeeded in reproducing this forging style.
This piece was made as a celebratory sword for the birth of the Crown Prince, who later became the Emperor Emeritus.
Time continues to pass swiftly and is truly astonishing.
