Shape: fine Ko-itame hada with faint Utsuri.
Hamon: Nie base Suguha.
Features: Daido was as swordsmith in Mino from the late Muromachi period to the early Edo period. There was a few swordsmith having the same name. Kanemichi, the founder of Mishina school changed his inscription to Daido in his late period.
The Koshirae is decorated with iron fittings featuring quails and various kinds of insects, plants, and flowers, creating a joyful and splendid work that evokes the liveliness of nature.
