Era : The Genroku era, the Edo period
Shape : The blade is long, broad. Powerful shape.
Jigane : Itamehada is grained well with Jinie. Beautiful Masa flow.
Hamon : Niedeki Gunomemidare with slightly deep Nioikuchi. Uneven Hamon. Kinsuji and Sunagashi work, Yaki comes into the tip. Suguhadeki Gunomemidare comes in on the back. Kissaki sinks a bit and turns back in a small circle.

Special feature: This Yari was made in around the Genroku era. It probably never happens again to find Yari with this length. It is also very heavy and has NBTHK Tokubetsu Hozon Token paper.

From Aoi Art: It is a little bit strange to make Yari with this length and weight. It is not practical, so it had to have some ritual or religious meaning for shrines or temples. Jigane and Hamon are magnificent. There is small flaw at the place 5cm from Hamachi on the back, but it is not so problematic. We truly recommend this one to you.
