Era : Around the Ansei era, the Edo period.
Shape : The blade is broad and thick with longer Kissaki. Powerful-shape.
Jigane : Koitamehada is grained well and becomes rough with Jinie. Beautiful.
Hamon : Niedeki Chu-Suguha becomes Futo-Suguha to the tip. Nijuba works. Boshi is Chu-Suguha with deep Nioikuchi and ends with Hakikake.

Special feature: An adopted son of the 7th Tadayoshi and originally named Hashimoto Shinzaemon. He was offered a succession but refused the offer stubbornly. He passed away on the 26th of May in Ansei 6 at the age of 59. Most of his works are broad blades of Chu-Suguha with tight Nioikuchi.

From Aoi Art: The 8th Tadayoshi is also known as “Kenjo(dedication) Tadayoshi”. He is highly evaluated as an elegant and skillful swordsmith. Generally, Shinogi of Shinshinto has Masame but this Wakizashi has Itame with Mokume, which is like Koto Jigane and has really unique atmosphere. And Jigane is also different from normal Hizen swords and really rough. Hamon is Chu-Suguha and Futo-Suguha with Koashi. Apparently it looks like the 1st Musashi Daijo, really powerful shape.
