Signature : Mumei(unsigned) attributed as Fujiwara Takada school.

This sword belongs to regular saki ranking.
The blade was polished.
Habaki : Silver foiled single habaki.
Blade length : 41.8 cm or 16.45 inches.
Sori : 1.0 cm or 0.39 inches.
Mekugi : 1
Width at the hamachi : 3.10 cm or 1.22 inches.
Width at the Kissaki : 2.28 cm or 0.89 inches.
Kasane : 0.73 cm or 0.28 inches.
Era: The early Edo period
Shape: The blade is wide and thick, Well-balanced shape.
Jigane: Koitame-hada well grained, Jinie attached, beautiful Hadaai.
Hamon: Niedeki, Gunome-midare, Sunagashi and Kinsuji work in Hachu, Boshi is Hakigake and becomes like flames.

Special feature: Takada swords made in Koto times are called “Taira
Takada”, and ones in Shinto times are called “Fujiwara Takada”,
because after Shinto times they made swords with signature of “Fujiwara ―“.
Horimono (engraving) a dragon is engraved on front side which is pretty nice. on the back side, Bonji is engrave.
If you want to ask us to polish this sword, additional polishing cost will be JPY35,000.

Saya :black saya.
Tsuba : Round shape iron tsuba, landscape and a woman are engraved.
Menuki : a dragon is engraved with gold color.
Fuchikashira: On the iron plate, person is engraved.
