This work by Omi no Kami Minamoto Hisamichi is ranked as Jyojo Saku.
Habaki: Single Habaki
Blade Length: 75.5 cm (29.72 in).
Curvature: 2.8 cm (1.10 in).
Mekugi Hole: 1.
Width at Base (Motohaba): 3.35 cm (1.32 in).
Width at Yokote: 2.50 cm (0.98 in).
Thickness of rim (Kasane): 0.78 cm (0.31 in).
Sword Weight: 890 g.
Era: Edo period, around Kyoho era (1720).
Shape: Wide mihaba, deep curvature, and an extended kissaki.
Bo-hi and soe-bi are carved on both sides.
Jigane: Gunome-midare.
Near the hamachi it becomes small gunome-midare, then transitions into large gunome-midare toward the tip.
The boshi is midare-komi and returns in a komaru shape.
Hamon: Large midare with fine kinsuji working within the ha, mixed with sunagashi.

Features: Omi no Kami Minamoto Hisamichi (2nd generation), also called Mishina Kinshiro, became the adopted son of the first Hisamichi.
This work has a wide mihaba, considerable length, and deep curvature, giving it a dignified presence.
It is in healthy condition and highly attractive.
The signature is also well preserved, indicating it has been carefully maintained.
A rare feature is the carved kiku branch crest.
