Hamon (Temper Line): The hamon is bright and clear, exhibiting a double hamon and prominent activities of
midare (irregular) pattern, sand patterns, and golden lines. The return is somewhat long.

Distinctive Features: The real name of Tenryuji Hideshū is Kanzaki Hideshū. He was born in 1944 and is a
renowned swordsmith from Tottori Prefecture. He has won awards such as the Effort
Prize at the New Sword Exhibition. Inaba swordsmiths have a long history of producing
excellent swords due to the high-quality iron sand produced in Inaba.

Saya: Vermilion lacquer scabbard.
Menuki: High-relief motifs of a horse’s saddle and whip in color enamel.

activity in the golden lines. It is considered to be a somewhat longer short sword reminiscent of Norishige’s style.
