Chukoto: Chujo Saku: Ecchu, around Oei (1394-1428).

The workmanship of this piece is ranked as Jyo Saku for Uda Kunimune.

Features: Uda Kunimune is a school of swordsmith from Nanbokucho to The Edo period. This sword is from the early Edo period. Since the blade bears a test-cutting inscription dated Kanbun 1 (1661), it is considered to be from the same period.
