We divide 4 sections for each sword as Saijyo Saku, Jyojyo Saku, Jyo Saku and Regular Saku.
This sword is ranked as Jyojyo Saku (superior grade) among the works of Kaneharu.
Habaki: Shakudo single-piece habaki
Blade Length: 26.5 cm (10.43 in)
Curvature: Uchi-zori (slightly inward)
Mekugi Hole: 2
Width at Base (Motohaba): 2.60 cm (1.02 in)
Thickness of rim (Kasane): 0.55 cm (0.22 in)
Sword Weight: 175 g
Era: Late Muromachi period
Shape: A tanto with well-proportioned width and thickness.
Jigane: Ko-itame-hada, well-forged and finely textured.
Hamon: Nie-based gunome-midare, ending in a small round boshi with a long and deeply turning back.

Features: Kaneharu was a swordsmith active in Mino during the mid to late Muromachi period.
This piece is well-polished and excellently crafted.

Koshirae:
Saya (Scabbard): Dark brown carved saya
Fuchikashira: Horn
Menuki: None
Kozuka: Shakudo nanako with design of a mouse and fan, decorated with gold inlay.
Includes a small knife.
