Features: Hizen no Kuni Fujiwara Yoshikane is said to have been a student of the 8th generation Tadayoshi and produced works in a similar style. This piece comes with a Kichō Tōken (Precious Sword) certificate, but it does not guarantee a passing the Hozon Tōken designation.
The carvings read “Buun Chōkyū” and “Shichishō Hōkoku.” These are phrases symbolizing martial fortune and loyalty to the nation, both of which were commonly used slogans during wartime.
