Shape: A well-proportioned blade with slightly wide mihaba and ample thickness.
It features deep curvature, double grooves (futatsu-suji-hi), and an extended kissaki.
Jigane: Well-forged ko-itame-hada, forming a fine and clean jigane.
Hamon: A suguha temper line with small nie, slightly tight in appearance, with small ashi.
The boshi returns in a round manner.

Features: This sword is signed with the smith’s common name and attributed to Sakyo Shin Munemitsu of Bizen Osafune.
He was the second son of Yukō (Yukimitsu), also known as Rokurozaemon, and collaborated on several blades.
He is also known to have instructed Akamatsu Masanori, the lord of Mimasaka Castle, in sword forging.
His works tend to be on the shorter side.
