The boshi is large, stretches out, and returns roundly.
Features: Sadamitsu was a disciple of Gassan Sadakazu and referred to himself as Ryūunsai of Heianjo in Yamashiro province.
This work measures 78.2 cm in blade length, has wide mihaba, and is a solid and robust piece.
Being a student of Gassan Sadakazu, his craftsmanship is of high quality.
It was made around the Keiō era in the late Edo period.
There are works very similar to those of Gassan Sadakazu, suggesting that he may have also produced swords on his behalf.
The sword features a dignified and impressive ō-kissaki, making it a remarkable and attractive piece.
