Shape: slightly wide adn thick blade with small curvature.
Jigane: Koitame hada with much Ji-nie and Utsuri.
Hamon: Nioi-base Chojimidare with small Nie composing Yo and Sunagashi.
Features: Musashi Daijo Korekazu, also known as Kawakami Sakon, was affiliated with the Omi-Ishido school and later moved to Edo.
Aoi Art’s Comment: Though the chōji-midare differs somewhat from that seen in Koto works, this blade is a well-crafted piece of the Shinto period with firmness and a distinct Ichimonji-style appearance.
It is a solid and well-made example.
