Shape: wide,thick blade with small curveture, typical shape of Kanbun blade
Jigane: Koitame hada with Jinie and faint Utsuri
Hamon: Nioi-deki little blurring Ko-gunome and Choji with much Ashi and Yo.

Special feature:
Bushū Ishidō Hata Toren was a swordsmith from the Edo Ishidō school and also signed as Morihisa.
The hamon of this piece, with a fine pattern and slightly blurred, seems to emulate the style of old Ichimonji, the faint Utsuri on the Jigane also indicates that. This piece stands out as an exceptionally healthy and well-crafted work among Azumaren’s works. This piece was featured as a kantei-to (appraisal sword) in Token Bijutsu No. 555, published in April, Heisei 15 (2003).
