Jigane: plain look blackish jigane with Jinie
Hamon: Nie-base Gunome midare with Kinsuji and Sunagashi. Boshi is pointed and turns back.

Features: Moriyoshi was a swordsmith born in 1920 in Yatsushiro, Kumamoto Prefecture. He produced many excellent works, including pieces in the style of Kiyomaro, and received numerous awards. In 1985, he was designated as a Mukansa swordsmith. He specialized in the Soshu style, and this blade, with its boshi that turns back in an upswept manner, shows characteristics reminiscent of the Samonji school and Kiyomaro.
