Shape: A blade with a wide body and firm thickness, featuring a slightly long boshi.
Jigane: Well-forged ko-itame hada mixed with masame.
Hamon: Nie-deki with rounded gunome-midare, neatly aligned. Ashi enters softly. The boshi has a slightly irregular pattern.

Era:Showa

Features: This piece was made before WWII by Hokke Saburo Nobufusa, also known as Ryo’un.
His original name was Nobufusa (Takahashi Shohei), and he was selected three times for exhibitions.
He learned forging techniques from Ichiryusai SadaToshi, and passed away in May 1958 at the age of 74.
Although his swords were hidden during the postwar period, they eventually surfaced after the lifting of restrictions on owning Japanese swords.

Koshirae:
Tsuba: Iron round tsuba with openwork plant design.
Fuchikashira: Decorated with engraved patterns.
Saya (Scabbard): Lacquered in alternating red and black pattern.
Menuki: Horse motif.
