Aoi Art’s Comment: This is a bright and clear work in suguha style.
Such characteristics are commonly seen among swordsmiths of the Hizen school.
Among them, the most well-known is the second generation Omi Daijo Fujiwara Tadahiro.
Omi no Kami Tadayoshi initially inscribed his name as Hizen no Kuni Tadahiro, which can sometimes cause confusion.
The suguha hamon is very similar in appearance.
The deep, bright, and clear nioiguchi along with the excellent koshirae make this a high-quality piece.
