We divide 4 sections for each sword as Saijyo Saku, Jyojyo Saku, Jyo Saku and Regular Saku.
This work is ranked as Jyo Saku for Mumei (attributed to Yamato Kami Tadayuki).

Shape: Katana with slightly deep curveture and long kissaki.
Jigane: Itame and Masame
Hamon: Nie-base Notare and pointed Gunome midare with Sunagashi and Kinsuji blending into its Jigane.

Features: Yamato no Kami Tadayuki was a swordsmith from Takada in Bungo who worked in the early Edo period. This piece is particularly attractive for its distinctive jigane (steel surface).

Koshirae:
Tsuba: Iron tsuba with openwork carving of fans.
Fuchikashira: Brass fittings engraved with decorative patterns.
Menuki: a design of phoenix.
