Aoi Art’s Comment: The first-generation Echigo no Kami Kanesada was also known as Yamada Heidayu, a student of Iga no Kami Kanemichi.
His works typically have shallow sori and a ko-itame jigane, which are features of Kanbun Shinto.
This resembles the style of Kotetsu and Kanesada.
However, this wakizashi has a more noticeable curvature and an extended kissaki, making it an excellent piece in terms of shape.
