Higo no Kami Kuniyasu, son of the first-generation Kawachi no Kami Kunisuke, is a distinguished master of the Osaka Shintō school. This blade exhibits a kobushi-gata chōji hamon—“fist-shaped chōji”—in the manner of his elder brother, the second-generation Kunisuke.
