Features: The 27th Generation Kanemoto is Mr. Kaneko Tatsuichiro of the Kaneko Magoroku lineage, born in 1924 and inherited the name of the 27th Kanemoto in 1944.
This pair (daito and shoto) was skillfully made with the intent of emulating the style of the second generation Magoroku.
Aoi Art’s Comment: As the saying goes, “A crane lives a thousand years, a turtle ten thousand,” these swords were likely crafted with a wish for longevity.
This makes them extremely auspicious works.
Both the daito and shoto share the same date of manufacture: Auspicious day of January, 1989.
Aoi Art estimation paper : whole Oshigata.
Starting bid: ¥1,200,000
